THE FREEDOM PLACE COLLECTION

The following is an eight-minute video, featuring interviews with Stuart Bloch, owner of The
  Freedom Place Collection, and artists Richard Yarde and Robert Freeman.

 

The Freedom Place Collection is one of great depth and beauty, highlighting the legacy and contributions of prominent African-American artists in our country.  Romare Bearden, Benny Andrews, Alma Thomas, Richard Yarde and Robert Freeman followed their vision and passion during times that were difficult for Black artists, and paved the way for generations to follow.
